Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 8 tablespoons Butter, cubed and chilled
  • 1/3 cup Sprinkles
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add cubed butter and blend until resembling coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in sprinkles gently.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk heavy cream, egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Combine with dry ingredients.
  5. Shape the dough into a 1.5-inch tall circle on the baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice dough into 8 triangles, brush with heavy cream, and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
