Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  9. For the frosting, beat the softened butter in a bowl until creamy and smooth.
  10. Gradually add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, alternating with milk, mixing until smooth.
