- 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 1 cup apples, diced (such as Granny Smith)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the cinnamon roll dough onto a floured surface and roll it out to 1/4 inch thick.
- In a bowl, combine the diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one edge and press the seam to seal.
- Cut the rolled dough into thick slices, about 1-2 inches each, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce until smooth, then drizzle over the warm rolls.
