- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- If desired, decorate with melted white chocolate.
Notes
For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour. For dairy-free, substitute butter with coconut oil and use dairy-free chocolate chips.
