- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 2 tablespoons bourbon

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, corn syrup, and sugar until well blended. Add in eggs, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and bake for 45-50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow the pie to cool for at least an hour before slicing and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute the pie crust with a gluten-free crust. Consider adding espresso powder for a richer flavor.
