Description
A rich and fudgy dessert that combines creamy peanut butter and chocolate ganache on a buttery graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth, then mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the peanut butter mixture, then spread it into the cooled crust.
- For the ganache, heat 3/4 cup of heavy cream until simmering, then pour it over chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes before stirring in butter and corn syrup until glossy.
- Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Notes
For added texture, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy, or try using gluten-free graham crackers.
