Description

A rich and fudgy dessert that combines creamy peanut butter and chocolate ganache on a buttery graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth, then mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
  3. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the peanut butter mixture, then spread it into the cooled crust.
  4. For the ganache, heat 3/4 cup of heavy cream until simmering, then pour it over chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes before stirring in butter and corn syrup until glossy.
  5. Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

Notes

For added texture, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy, or try using gluten-free graham crackers.
