Ingredients

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Stir in chopped bell peppers and diced tomatoes; cook for another 5-7 minutes until tender.
  6. Finish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
  7. Plate and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for at least an hour. Can substitute chicken with tofu for a plant-based option.
