Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, whisking until fully combined and warmed through.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Using an electric mixer, whip the hot chocolate mixture until it’s light and frothy.
- Pour the whipped hot chocolate into mugs, topping with whipped cream and garnishing with chocolate shavings or marshmallows.
Notes
