Description

Watermelon basil detox water recipe that’s 92% water naturally. This summer refresher provides natural electrolytes, subtle sweetness, and sophisticated herbal notes—perfect for hot days, post-workout recovery, or as a healthy party drink.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup fresh watermelon cubes (seedless or seeds removed)

68 fresh basil leaves

32 oz cold filtered water

Ice cubes

Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Glass pitcher with lid


Instructions

1. Cut watermelon into 1-inch cubes (remove seeds if present)

2. Lightly muddle half the watermelon cubes in bottom of pitcher

3. Add remaining whole watermelon cubes

4. Wash basil leaves and pat dry

5. Lightly bruise basil leaves between palms

6. Add basil to pitcher

7. Add lime juice if using

8. Fill with cold filtered water

9. Add ice cubes

10. Seal and shake gently

11. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours

12. Strain or drink with floating ingredients
