Description
Peachy cinnamon detox water recipe that tastes like dessert without the calories. Ripe peaches provide natural sweetness while cinnamon adds warmth and potential blood sugar benefits—perfect afternoon treat or evening relaxation beverage.
Ingredients
1 ripe peach, sliced (leave skin on)
1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
32 oz room-temperature or cold water
Ice cubes (optional)
Optional: 1-2 whole cloves
Glass pitcher or infusion bottle
Instructions
1. Wash peach thoroughly (leave skin on for color)
2. Slice peach into thin wedges or rounds
3. Place peach slices in pitcher
4. Add cinnamon stick (or sprinkle ground cinnamon)
5. Add whole cloves if using for extra spice
6. Fill with room-temperature or cold water
7. If using ground cinnamon, stir vigorously to disperse
8. Let infuse at room temperature for 2 hours, then refrigerate
9. For stronger flavor, muddle some peach slices
10. Remove cinnamon after 8 hours to prevent bitterness
Notes
✔️ Leave peach skin on for color and nutrients
✔️ Room-temperature infusion extracts more peach flavor
✔️ Cinnamon stick is prettier; ground cinnamon disperses better
✔️ Excellent dessert replacement or afternoon snack
✔️ Can use nectarines if peaches aren’t in season
