Indulgent brownies blending rich chocolate and wake-up coffee, creating a moist and fudgy treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and brewed coffee.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For the frosting, whip the cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the coffee frosting on top of the cooled brownies.
  9. Optionally, drizzle melted chocolate over the frosting.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or in the fridge for a week. Freeze individual squares for up to a month.
