- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into squares, approximately 4 inches per side.
- In a bowl, combine the diced ham, cheese, mustard (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well-blended.
- Spoon a generous amount of the filling mixture into the center of each pastry square.
- Gently fold the dough over to form a pocket, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops of each pocket with a beaten egg.
- Place the Hot Pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the Hot Pockets cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can prepare these Hot Pockets ahead of time and freeze prior to baking. Bake directly from frozen, adding extra cooking time.
