Description
This simple warm honey lemon drink uses the honey trick for weight loss as a gentle daily ritual to support hydration and curb cravings.
Ingredients
1 cup (240 ml) warm water, not boiling
1 to 2 teaspoons raw or lightly processed honey
1 to 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
1 small pinch ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
1. Warm the water until it is comfortable to sip but not boiling.
2. Add the honey to a mug and pour the warm water over it, stirring until the honey is fully dissolved.
3. Stir in the lemon juice, then taste and adjust the amount of lemon to your preference.
4. Add a small pinch of ground cinnamon if you like, stir again, and let the drink sit for about a minute.
