Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil, and for a gluten-free version, swap all-purpose flour with almond flour.
