Description
Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls are soft, sweet rolls filled with gooey melted cheese, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or basil, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Without separating them, slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Generously spread softened butter on the cut sides of both halves.
- If desired, sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered rolls.
- Evenly distribute shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the bottom half.
- Carefully place the top half back onto the cheesy bottom half.
- Tightly wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped rolls in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and return the rolls to the oven for an additional 5 minutes for a golden crust.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice into smaller portions and serve warm.
Notes
These rolls can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Leftovers can be kept for up to 3 days.
