Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the dough: Roll out store-bought dough or prepare homemade dough and let it rise.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree with olive oil, salt, pepper, and nutmeg or cinnamon.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle shredded Gouda over the pumpkin base.
- Add sliced onions and peppers, then sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Cool slightly, drizzle with balsamic reduction if desired, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
For a crispier crust, place the pizza on a preheated pizza stone or par-bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
