Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, then add the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir in the flour until just combined.
  5. Fold in the walnuts and about half of the salted caramel sauce.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and gently tap on the counter.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Drizzle with the remaining salted caramel sauce before serving.
