- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, then add the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir in the flour until just combined.
- Fold in the walnuts and about half of the salted caramel sauce.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and gently tap on the counter.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Drizzle with the remaining salted caramel sauce before serving.
