- 3.5 tbsp (50 g) butter
- A bunch of fresh dill
- Salt
- Smoked paprika
- Black pepper
- Oregano
- 1.1 lbs (500 g) ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 large tomato
- 2.5 oz (70 g) tomato paste
- A bunch of fresh parsley
- 3.5 oz (100 g) mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them with butter, dill, salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, and oregano.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced red bell pepper until browned.
- Add diced tomato and tomato paste to the meat mixture and incorporate chopped parsley.
- In a baking dish, form nests with the mashed potatoes and create a well in the center for the beef mixture.
- Top each nest with mozzarella cheese and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
For lighter variations, substitute ground turkey or lentils for the beef. Ensure to use seasonal ingredients for the best flavors!
